Not so long ago we used some of the sticky-ickiest hops that one small brewery on Southwest Boulevard could get their hands on. How can we describe a beer with a classic, yet modern, lineup of Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, and Citra? Could it be described as having flavors and aromas of…Grapefruit? Yep! White grape? Yep!! Tropical fruits? Yep!!! A touch of pleasant pine? Yep!!!! Hold on now, but is it…Clear? Yep!!!!! A beer that has enough bitterness while still maintaining a wonderfully light pilsner malt backbone that makes it endlessly drinkable and delicious? Yep!!!!!!

On tap at Alma Mader, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out clean, dank, piney hops, and a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is crisp and piney in the hop department, with plenty of bitterness, crispness and gentle tropical character. Clean and vibrant. Excellent.
