I found a 12 oz can in the singles shelf at the nearby HEB recently. No idea of what to expect, so here we go. I have my Buffalo Bayou tulip glass prepared to receive the pour, orange-amber in color with a sizeable head of parchment tan foam, long lasting too. The scent is a bit tropical along with some pine, so there you go. I get a nice intro of hops followed by a pineapple sweetness, grass, bread, malt and an indication of the herb. A substantial presence, I always appreciate that sensation. Better than expected, this IPA actually differentiates itself from the multitude of others and has a tilt towards WC style.

On tap at Community Beer Co, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney and somewhat dank hops, with gentle tropical fruits, and sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is clean, rich and balanced, with a wonderful tropical fruitiness, plenty of piney hops, light dankness, some resins, and sweet biscuity malt to provide a chewy backbone. Perfectly balanced, getting the best of that hop expression. Excellent.
