This special edition Toasted Oak Barrel Craft Cider was aged for 12 months in a medium-toasted French oak barrel. It has moderate body and exhibits soft buttery malolactic notes of Chardonnay and fresh heritage apples. Pairs well with Pacific Northwest seafood dishes, sage and butter chicken, and movie night popcorn.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2023, pours a clear pale blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out some buttery notes from the Chardonnay along with some vanillin and crisp apple skins. Flavour is dry, oaky and vinous, with a nice buttery Chardonnay character that complement the dry apple skins. Quite nice.
