DDH West Coast Rye IPA w/ @freestylehops Nelson hops!
Our Lead Brewer Ian from our Costa Mesa spot dreamt this one up, as a nod to the legendary the OG Alpine Nelson that we all fell in love with years ago. Sitting on a simple bed of Pilsner and Rye Malt, the hops are wonderfully expressive with all the New Zealand love we could ask for. Tasting notes? Think NZ Sauv Blanc, Cotton Candy, Orange Blossom, and pink grapefruit.

On tap at Green Cheek - Costa Mesa, pours a mostly clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is mega dank, with intense spicy rye, bright white wine-like tangy hops, and some melon. Flavour just brings out the best of the Nelson, alongside some spicy rye, and just enough biscuity malt to back. The Nelson is absolutely divine here. Beauty.
