Beautiful dark amber colour, luminous. The aroma is intense, stewed apples and acidity. It's full bodied, sweet, with balanced acidity; rich flavour of caramelized apples and stewed apples, caramelized pineapple; delicate tannins in the finish.
Excellent.

Poured from 375mL bottle (2018 vintage; listed 11% abv; thanks beerplace). Clear golden orange with no head. Stewed apples, treacle, hint of cardboard (but only on the nose - possibly some oxidation since it was previously opened). Otherwise, very nice, complex taste.

375ml (thx, Mathieu A.!) @ Matt's shared with Phill and other Matt's friends. Vintage 2018. Appearance: clear golden. Aroma: sweet red apples, some toffee, caramel. Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet, nice body, apple seeds and skin. Overall: very good one, but I think I would prefer it to have just a tad more tartness.

2018 vintage. 375mL bottle, pours a clear golden caramel colour, almost no head. Nose is full of caramel, treacle toffee, and stewed apples — wonderful complexity. Flavour is wonderfully complex, with lots of stewed apples, treacle toffee, some brown sugar, and caramel. Very low tartness, lots of treacle and stewed apples. Excellent.
