On tap at Beer Lab HI, pours a somewhat hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals a nice rustic saison yeast character, with a touch of black pepper and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour has some phenolic notes that ruin this, with rustic saison yeast, burnt rubber and a touch of pepper. Get rid of that phenolic issue and you might have something halfway drinkable here. Not good.
