750mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of bourbon barrels, vanilla beans, iron, and dark sugars. Flavour is extremely rich, with lots of bourbon barrels, molasses, and iron. Extremely syrupy, rich and somewhat brutal. Lacking refinement.

750ml (thx, Ryan!) @ Black Christmas 2023 at Heritage Hall. Appearance: dark brown, no head. Aroma: lots of vanilla, American oak. Taste: along the same lines, quite sticky, but it's not overly sweet, like aiquif oak with vanilla and some black chocolate, getting to the drier chocolate territory. Overall: nice one, but I am missing a bit of sweetness here. It's like a preference between Lindt 60% and 70% dark chocolate, when 70% is a bit too much.
