Dates and dark honey nose. Cloudy brown. Dates, tobacco, rum, bourbon, vanilla. Medium body, easy carbonation, hot. Rich and boozy. I was hoping for a nuttier presence.

Bottle pour at Superstition DTPHX, pours a dirty reddish brown -- that doesn't look the greatest. Aroma is full of peanut butter upfront, followed by cocoa, a touch of toasted hazelnuts, and subdued bourbon. Flavour is decadent, with lots of peanut butter and dry roasted hazelnuts in back, accentuated by bourbon, vanilla and cocoa... and of course honey. Drier than expected, quite boozy on the finish. Maybe a bit rough for Superstition but still very tasty.
