Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a slight and transient white head. Aroma suggests grapefruit and pine. Slight lychee note? Med body at least. Malty but rather dry. More than moderately bitter. Flavor is pine with some grapefruit pith. Bitterness persists. Very good flavor.

Can from Tavour: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is hefty pine, some grapefruit, maybe a bit floral. Taste is fairly dry without being all that bitter. Not to say it isn't, because it is. Very clean. Nicely done.

Draft pour pint at Roses By the Stairs, PHX. Mostly clean golden pour. Hint of a cloudiness. Oily head. Piney forest hops throughout. Aroma is surprisingly mellow in this hop forward brew, but the flavor more than makes up for it. Bitter bite, but equally as refreshing late. Nice mix of new school and old school hops. Fun and solid house IPA to be introduced to these guys with.

Can at home watching a scary movie. Clear orange and one finger head. Nose is lovely grapefruit and herbal. Tatses of grapefruits, tangerines, herbal, sweet orange candy, pine. Fruity and some bitters.

On tap at Roses by the Stairs, pours a mostly clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is very strange -- like scorched, sweaty hops -- this can't be right, can it? Flavour is abrasive, with big bitter pine cones, some sweatiness, and earthiness. Hmm, this isn't working for me. Maybe it was in better shape a while ago? But since it's their house beer, I suppose this is what's intended. Just not enjoying the rather rough hop expression so much.

Pint can pours with a clear deep gold colored body that supports a nice near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of orange marmalade and grapefruit followed by a murmur of maltiness. The taste has that classic west coast hop depth and crispness. I get a pleasing blend of tangy tangerine and some orange running up against a bitter wall of grapefruit hop bitterness. A few more sips reveals a thin layer of mango like tropical notes creating a bit more depth. Solid West Coast IPA. I can, and will, drink a lot of this.
