We love a good piney West Coast Pale Ale and so we've gone and created a new beer to celebrate the bitter side of modern pales. It also forms part of a new experiment we're embarking on, exploring the evolution of the West Coast beer style.

Sunshine and Flowers v1 is a 5% solid WCP in the traditional style; amber in hue, floral on the nose and bitter on the pallet, with lots of satisfying flavours of passion fruit, pineapple, refreshing pine from the hot and cold side hop additions of Cascade, Centennial and Chinook. The beer has lovely caramel notes from the touch of light crystal malt we used to get that signature West Coast hue.

On cask at Carnival, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle English hops and bready malt. Flavour is bitter, with bitter fungal hops and some bready malt. Ugh, bitter, chaotic and imprecise. No good.
