[ As Opat Benediktin 12° ].Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, grain, cereal, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, bread, grain, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140815]

Keg at GBBF ’14, day 4, 15/08/14. Clear light golden with a well appointed white covering that retains well. Nose is bready malt, yeast, straw, light orchard fruits, citric notes. Taste comprises bready malt, fresh grass, citric peel, light caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent refreshing pils.

Ein feines Helles aus der Klosterbrauerei. Es ist cz-typisch sehr süffig und vollmundig. Dabei hat es einen angenehm frischen Hintergrund. Finde ich sehr gut.

Bottle, 5.0%. Herbal hop aroma, a bit papery. Almost clear yellow colour. Small stable frothy white head. The flavour is also slightly papery, but not a problem. Mild aroma hop flavour, fruity and perhaps a little flowery. Low to medium bitterness. Clean enough.

Bottle @ Zentraleuropäischer Wahnsinn 2. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops with a grainy touch to it. Bitter, hoppy taste, with a good deal of yeast and raw grain. Bitter finish. OK.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild spiced, grassy and light toasted malty. Grassy, toasted and light sweet. Medium dry, light bitter and toasted malty finish.
