On tap at Fair Isle, pours a dark red / burgundy with a small off-white/off-pink bead. Aroma is loaded with rich, pithy, thorny boysenberries, gentle rustic notes and herbal notes. Flavour is extremely jammy and berry-forward, with intense boyseneberries that have been largely fermented out, some herbal notes from the shiso leaf, and subdued wild yeast. Cohesive and wonderfully expressive of the boysenberries. Damn this is nice.
