Oak-aged farmhouse ale with boysenberries
We are big fans of Sidhu Farms in Puyallup, WA, their berries create our most fruit forward beers and this boysenberry batch might just be our favorite release of the year. The fruit quality, depth and sweetness of Sidhu’s fruit has always been incredible and their boysenberries are next level - low acid, big and sweet.

Like drinking straight boysenberries. Tart and sweet deliciousness.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a hazy bright red — somewhat dark — with a small white head. Aroma reveals plenty of tart blueberries, some wild yeast, and some herbal character from the shiso leaf. Flavour is much the same, with plenty of shiso leaf, tart blueberry, and oak. Rustic, tart, fruity and herbal finish to in good cohesion. Very nice.
