We’ve taken our award-winning base Imperial Stout and added some delicious Fraser Valley Hazelnuts and a hint of vanilla. The result? A creamy, smooth, rich and chocolatey concoction, with notes of vanilla and a lingering hazelnut finish.
The base stout was aged in Union Horse bourbon barrels for 12 months and left unblended. The barrels provide strong notes of prune and raisin with that classic oaky vanilla from the bourbon. Drink fresh or cellar for years to come.

650 ml bottle. Pours black with almost no head. Aromas of vanilla, salty hazelnuts, chocolate and slick roasted malts. A ton of hazelnuts on the flavor profile adding almost acidic bitterness and overshadowing the vanilla which only peaks out a little before a dry bitterness returns. You’ve got to love hazelnuts with this one…

Dark. Lots of both flavours on the nose. Medium bodied imperial stout, with simple toast notes, and a lot of adjunct. It's ok.

On tap at Barnside, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of rather artificial hazelnut syrup, vanilla extract, and some toasted malt. Flavour is very rich, with tons of perfumey notes, artificial hazelnut syrup, vanilla extract, and medium roast. Syrupy, artificial and a total mess. Ugh.
