On cask at the Royal Hotel, Bolton le Sands. Appearance - pale golden with a decent head. Nose - lemon and pith. Dry yeast and malt at the back. Taste - more lemon and pithiness. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good example of the style.

Cask @ Ring O’Bells, Halifax. Clear straw-blonde coloured with a thick smooth head. Hoppy ale, but not overbearing in this respect. Very sessionable, very easy-drinking. Very light textured.
