Deep amber robe, rich English malts with a toasted biscuit flavor with wood notes. What gave the beer the name of the american sequoias. With a sweet caramel toffee aroma.

Bottle at the Beer Collection, Bangkok. Poured a hazy reddish medium brown with a round white head. The aroma is fruity, metallic hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a sweet fruity malt, light pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Craft Islington, 25th July 16. Pours chestnut, aroma is sweet malt, taste is sticky sweet, malt, caramel, minimal hops. Not good and a far cry from SWB at their best, good intentions 5 years ago, but never really excelled

Clear amber beer. White head. Malty rye aroma. Flavour has the same qualities, with some apple and something a bit more sour that I can’t place. It’s the sourness that lingers.

Keg at St Albans beer shop, St Albans, Herts. A hazy dark amber coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Fruity, malty, caramel aroma. Tastes similar, fruity, malty, caramel, slight sweetness. Enjoyable amber that went down far too easily.
