A pale straw yellow lager with a flully head. Layers of bread crust, lightly toasted grain, and cereal fill out the aroma and flavor. Has a clean, refreshing finish and crisp, light bitterness. Triple-decocted and lagered for the long haul, "Glacial Pace" ain't fast but it sure is beautiful.

On tap at brewery. Pours clear yellow with white head. Aroma has dry straw and cracker malts. Flavour has some straw, but the malts have a bit too much residual sweetness. Lacks the crisp and refreshing qualities I would have liked to see.

On tap at Crux - PDX, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly sweet, with sweet cereal malt, not much of the classic herbaceous notes. Flavour is crisp, with light herbaceous notes, sweet cereal, and some crisp cracker. Lacking hops and authentic helles character. Unconvincing.
