A lighter version of our Nelson Sauvin beer. Hopped at several stages with Nelson Sauvin hops, said to be similar in aromatics and flavours to the Sauvignon Blanc wine. Notes of gooseberry, passion fruit, pineapple and lemon with a full body and long finish.

473mL can. Pours cloudy yellow with large white head. Aroma is grassy with a lot of white wine character. Flavour is dank with great white wine character; some crisp malts. Light mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. Excellent.

473mL can, pours a minimally hazy golden blonde with a huge white head for some reason. Nose exudes shitloads of divine Nelson -- with huge gooseberry, white wine tang, and a little tropical fruit -- damn. Flavour is crisp, with lots of white wine tanginess, citrus hops, some gooseberry, bright grass, and crisp biscuity malt to back. The hop expression is more intense and well-dialed in than many (if not most) IPAs. Great Nelson expression.
