On tap at Reuben's - Ballard, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma certainly brings out the rye -- with plenty of earthy spiciness -- some gentle piney hops, and dry bready malt. Flavour likewise reveals the rye upfront, but at the expense of the hops, which end up buried. The balance isn't great, and I'm finding it hard to pick out anything I like. It's not bad, but the rye/hop combo doesn't work for me here.
