Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Dorking Gold ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, hay - apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, hay - apple, pale malt, bisquit malt - dough - bread. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, slight citrusy. Mild fruity, toasted malty, light grassy. Mild herbal, dry andslight citrusy into the finish.

Cask at GBBF ’14, day 2, 13/08/14. Almost clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange squash, straw, citric pith, light bready notes. Taste comprises straw, citric pith, lemon rind, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok golden blonde with refrehsing citric zest.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults. Birmingham . Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light malt hop. The flavour is light bitter with a light wartery hop spice bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
