Bottle sampled at the meadery, pours a clear neutral blonde. Aroma is nicely spiced, with cinnamon and clove, and a touch of low sweetness wildflower honey. Flavour reveals the cinnamon, clove and nutmeg in good proportion, with light sweetness, and some wildflower character. Fairly subtle without being weak. Solid stuff.

Synthetic cork bottle at the winery, bottled 2017
Light blond color. Delicate aroma of winter spices. Off-dry, the mead flavor is not apparent being hidden by the spices; some cider-like flavor too. Dry finish.
Sensibly done, but I'm not a big fan of metheglins.
