Cask at Number 27, Da Ness, 18/10/13. Clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is toasty malts, cereals, light citrus strains. Taste comprises toasty malts, grassy, sugars, light summer fruit notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Got to say that the cellarmanship in Number 27 cannot be faulted, the best conditioned cask beers I came across all weekend and probably worth 0.2/0.3 per rate on most other venues - well done that pub !
