On tap at Doctor Bar's, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out lots of dried dark fruits upfront and bready caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready caramel, dark dried fruits, especially raisins, and some wood. Interesting beer - for being so strong, it's quite dry. Solid.

There is a little too much wrong with this beer. You have the wood of the barrel and the dust from the dried raisin residue. Some hay. Really doesn't taste anything like what they were going for here. Tap at Dr. Brew.
