Personnaly, I had a great experience with this beer. It is a powerful weizenbock, not so far than a rochefort 10, sweet, malty, plum and etc, 03.03.2018, drinking it at Epalinges

Aroma of malt, coffee, dark fruits, chocolate, dark bread, some liquorice. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long coffee bitter finish. As advertised, it’s like a marriage between Doppelbock and Stout. My kind of Bock.

Bottle at Pint Winterbierf estival, Gouda: Dark brown brew with an taste of roasted malts, dried fruits and chocolate. This can become an possible classic or legend.

Superficial festival rating @ Rebel Beer Fest 2024. Dark brown, almost black body under a dense beige head. Aroma has dark malt, hint of banana, toffee and some dry fruit. Taste is sweet, smooth, dark malt, mild roasted, toffee, hint of dry fruit and low bitterness. Fine balance in taste and body, nice, smooth aftertaste.

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a small off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, banana, some spices, yeast as well as some burnt sugar. Flavour is ripe fruits, banana, some anise, mild toasted notes as well as some slight floral and grassy bitterness to it.
