Pours bright clear deep ruby into a tulip. No head whatsoever. Apple, citrus and grape aromas. Sharp with apple and grape skin upfront turning to earthy seeds in the sweet, medium length finish.

Can sample at Champlain Orchards, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small pink head. Aroma brings out red wine tannins and crisp apple skins. Flavour is quite dry, with plenty of red wine dominating, while the apples take a backseat. Decent.
