On tap at the SLC BP Clear medium mahogany with a thin fine line of bubbles. Woody and a touch of brown sugar and caramel. A little tannic bite and lingering bitterness. This one is good also.

On tap at the brewery pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is sweet malts some light citrus pine hops. Taste is more of the nice mix of sweet malts and a little hop combo.

Poured on tap @ Squatter’s Brewpub in SLC. It has a deep copper body with lasting white head and cobweb lacing. The aroma has roasted caramelized malts, a bit of buttered bread along with spice and citrus orange smelling hops. The taste has dual competing notes of roasty to caramel maltiness and spicy to citrus hoppiness. Each time I begin to enjoy the rich maltiness a note hops wells up and joins in bringing citrusy to spicy goodness. A refreshing brew that attains a pleasing balance.
