CBC Red Session. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and minerally crisp. Mellow dark malts, sweetish mellow coffee and mild cinnamon. Trace of dark chocolate. Dry finish. Nicely joined up.

Draught @ CBC 2015. Pours black with a brown head, lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, chillies. Flavor is malty, coffee, caramel, chocolate, quite hot chillies, light alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, light chillies burn with a some warming alcohol. 020515

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, cocoa and cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate, coffee, cocoa, cinnamon and hint of chili finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tap at CBC 2015, Copenhagen. Originally rated 20150502. Colour is black with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Spices, pepper, some chili, chocolate and roasted malts. Massive pepper in aroma and flavor.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is coffee, light chalky and roasted dark malty. Toasted chalky breadish malty. Bitter and dry roasted finish.

Tap @CBC15. Clear, very dark brown. Tiny beige head. Cocoa and coffee aroma. Sweetish coffee and cocoa flavor. Slightly rough bitterness, late chili burn.

Sample at CBC 2015. Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of coffee, cocoa, pepper, licorice and some malt. Actually quite balanced with not too much heat from the pepper. Much better than expected.

Pours dark brown with tan head. Tastes like rich coffee, sweet and spicy peppers, rich roasted malt, dry cinnamon. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like roasted malt, sweet chocolate, rich coffee, and a light peppery spice. Too dry and unbalances spices for me.

Tap at CBC2015. Dark opaque black color, small brownish head. Strong pepper and coffee in the nose. Medium-bodied. Lots of pepper in the flavor. I mean a lot. Also some roasted coffee, less cinnamon. Unique.
