Pours black with a smooth head. Aroma of peppers, spices, cinnamon, roasty malts, hops, hints of cocoa, ash and tobacco. Taste is smooth, roasty and heavy with spices, notes of cinnamon, cocoa, ash, peppers and wood. Finish is roasty, crisp and slightly hoppy with some spices, peppers and cocoa. A bit unbalanced.

Interesting aroma with chili peppery tones, coffee and licorice. Flavour has peppery notes, licorice and coffee. Finishes with mild lingering chili tones and more coffee. Also cinnamon is present as promised. Nice, I like the burn here.

[2/19/15] Draught at Green Flash in San Diego. Black with a brown head. Aroma of roast, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee and lots of chili. Sweetish roasty flavor with cocoa, cinnamon, vegetal chili and a hot finish. Medium to full-bodied. OK, but too spicy for my liking.
