The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these “cow hunters” used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quaqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White Ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a Belgianyeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Aroma of wheaty malt and yeast, with some citrusy notes. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a creamy white head. Taste is fruity, with melon and orange apparent, yeast and hop flavours bounce around and there's some spice character in there too. It has moderate carbonation, a creamy mouthfeel and a sweet fruit aftertaste

Pours with really nice white foam and a cloudy yellowish body. Smells of smooth creamy yeast and sweet grains. Flavour is chewy grains and yeast, sweet chalkiness and some lemon. Very nice, very drinkable.

OK, so I'm in florida and I see this odd can at total wine in saint pete so I buy it. Pour is a slightly cloudy and pale. TAste is smooth and easy. How about CC always having some bullshit story with each of their brews, go fiiger. This is just a simple easy to drink on style wit bier thank you. There you have it. Good domestic example of the style, and I like it.

12 oz can. Hazy straw color. Light savory aroma. Taste brings some ginger and coriander on top of the smooth wheat base.

Slightly hazy, golden colour with an amber hue. The frothy head is warm-white, long lasting with some small creamy lacing. The orange notes and coriander are very present in the nose. Lots of bananas as well from the wheat. The taste is a little toned down, helping with the refreshing crisp mouthfeel that this one should do. Somewhat yeasty, with some oat feeling. If you like the richness and sweetness of wheat in beer, this witbier is for you.
