We blended in Grenache grape juice and used wine yeast for a secondary fermentation in red wine casks. Gorgeous florals, a grape aroma and flavor that pack a fruity sweetness but finishes dry and tannic with a subtle tartness.

On tap at Goose Island Taproom, pours a cloudy dark bronze with a small white head. Aroma brings out dusty, earthy grape skins, oak, and a touch of butterscotch. Flavour is earthy and oaky, with vanillin, earthy grape skins, and oak. The grape isn't all that pronounced, but the mix of elements is solid.
