On tap at Dovetail, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is a bit harsh, with some phenols, wild yeast, and oak. Flavour is peppery and lightly phenolic, with black pepper, acetic notes, wild yeast, and some oak. A bit too phenolic and acetic for my taste, but it comes together more as I drink it slowly. Nothing remotely gueuze-like, but I guess I see how this is supposed to approximate that style. Interesting.

8/1/2020 - Drank at AmLam share at Jimmy's place. Pours a clear gold with finger of white foam that lingers. Light on the funk, but nice notes of young pear, lemon and oak. Medium acidity on the finish. Not super complex but very refreshing.
