Moderately strong slightly malt-forward pale German lager. Rich yet not heavy doughy, bready, and grainy malt flavour from a combination of Pilsner, Munich, and Vienna malt. Floral and spicy hop notes with medium bitterness. Clean and moderately dry finish.

On tap at Parallel 49. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Some straw and grass on the nose. Flavour has wheaty malts, a bit of straw, and some fermenting wheat. Not great.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Simple Bready malt, nothing interesting, but completes my quest for the P49 Oktoberfest beers (I think).

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready notes and toasted malt. Flavour is malty and somewhat sweet, with bready malt and gentle sweetness. Not particularly well-honed but decent.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond colour, ok, maybe just a bit darker than a pale lager, it's quite clean. Light aroma, a bit stronger flavour; bready malts, with minimal residual sweetness, so getting a bit away from pale lager territory, but the malt is quite anonymous, and the hop also doesn't add much (well, it's expected in a Festbier), but the bitterness is not too shy.
Decent.
