A fine mix of heritage ingredients, a decoction mash and eight weeks of lagering gave us a complex yet refreshing rustic lager that we’ll be sipping on for the rest of summer (or for as long as it’s around).

Taster. Appearance: almost clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma: raw water, malty, typical lager hops. Taste: along the same lines, crispy. Overall: pleasant.

On tap at Studio, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out crunchy grassiness, some spiciness, bright herbaceousness, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is bright, with spicy grassiness, bright herbaceousness, and crisp crackery malt. Bright, spicy and crisp. Nicely done for the style.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Nice rustic grain, clean and crisp. Enjoyable.
