Named after our R&D Brewer’s tripod pooch, 3 Legged also pays homage to a Kalamazoo classic. The backbone of this beer is its malt profile. Lightly toasted and caramel malts give this beer its beautiful light amber color and complex flavor. By pairing it with 3 classic hops -- Simcoe, Cascade, and Tomahawk -- this is basically nostalgia in a pint glass.

On tap at The Tap (Yakima), pours a clear copper golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out big dank hops, some pine, and soft biscuity malt. Flavour is somewhat sweaty in the hop department, with light dankness, and biscuity malt. Too sweaty/armpity. Not my favourite hop expression.
