Golden Seal IPA was created to focus on old school west coast hops. It features Centennial, Chinook, and Simcoe. Lightly dry hopped with a crisp clean finish we wanted this to be a throwback just like those classic Golden Seal uniforms.

On tap at 5th Line, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle piney hops, some pot-like notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is somewhat earthy in the hop department, with gentle dankness, cardboardy biscuity malt, and muffled bready notes. Seems like a lot of crystal malt, or else something resembling it that creates this very dry, seltzery, cardboardy character. The hops aren't particularly bright, but do impart some residual bitterness. Not great, but not bad.
