12 oz. bottle at Matanuska - Anchorage, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a nice bourbon barrel character, with soft vanillin, light oak, and some bready malt. Flavour is largely a function of bourbon and vanillin, with plenty of oak and soft bready malt. Soft mouthfeel that improves as the beer warms. Could use a heavier base to support the bourbon character but this is nicer done.
