Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2013. Pours hazy pale golden with no head worth mentioning. Smell is phenolic and funky with crackers, hay, oatmeal cookies, lemon juice, barnyard, dry soil, lemon zest and hints of burnt skin. Taste is sour and tiny metallic with lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, raisins, moist soil, wood, hay and barnyard. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and light bodied. Finish is sour with lemon juice, hay, moist soil, raisins and wood.

Bottle at the brepub; vintage 2013
Cloudy deep blond color with just a few bubbles in top. The aroma is mildly sour, moldy, with evident yeast having a breadish and feety character. The carbonation is very soft, but there is some residual sweetness and it can get some more carbonation after aging; breadish flavor, mild acidity, very light lemony and almond touch; correct bitterness.
Pleasant, but it will probably get at its peak in a few months/ one year, and later may even become too sour without support (like some American sour wannabe).
