Bottled@fonefan. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, mild wooden and some grainy notes. Flavour is quite similar, but the grains, herbs and earth come in rather strong.

Flaske 500ml fra Rema-1000 butikk i Tromsø. Drukket i Skibotn 19 Feb 15. Aprikosfarget. Litt uklar. Nesten ikke skum. Forsiktig fruktaroma. Smaken svakt parfymert. Kan minne om frukt. Lett syrlig avslutning.

Bottle. An almost clear, dark golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is as expected on the malty side, with some grassy, resiny hops. Bread and hints of caramel. It’s medium bodied, quite dry and with a pleasant carbonation level. Bready, light caramel mals in the back of the flavor, with pine cones, grass and resins. A decent bitterness too, lasting for a good while. Not my kind of pale ale, but it’s a decent one anyway. 150228

Schwach hopfiger Start, zitrusartige Bitterkeit. Wert glaubt, der Hopfen nimmt zu liegt leider falsch, das Bier wird trockener und etwas bitterer. Nicht gelungen. 9/8/8/6/11/8

Gylden brun klar med høyt beige skum. Lukter mer malt enn humle. Ikke et godt tegn på APA. Søtlige smaker, ikke mye som minnet om APA i smak heller. Karamell med en lett bitter kort avslutning. Helt grei øl, men ikke en god APA

500ml bottle from Rema 1000 at K1 in Tromsø. A slight haze to a golden coloured body. Dissipating off-white head. Modest lacing. Smell of cooked vegetables and sweet malts. Strange blended taste profile of mild caramel, vegetables and grass. Bittersweet endnotes. Very foamy in the mouth. Drinkable, but rather disjointed. Weird version of the style. Not the right kind of beer to go with our salad food (Tromsø 25.01.2015).

Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malty, butter, toffee and faint citric.
Overall impression: Holy Christ what are they thinking off? American pale ale? No way. Malt bomb.

Medium white head. Hazy deep yellow body. Fruity earthy strawy aroma with herbal notes. Dryish earthy dusty strawy taste with caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dryish herbal earthy straw aftertaste with pea notes. A bit watery. It’s OK, but quite odd, and definitely not like any US pale ale I’ve ever had. (0.5l bottle, from Rema 1000, Lillestrøm.)
