MBCC 2018. Red. Pedal to the Metal session. Keg. Hazy amber beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light and dry. Sourish caramel coated fruits, little floralness. Tangy fruity finish. Tasty but dry.

[5/12/18] Draught sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018. Red session. Amber. Barnyard, oak, fruitiness, sour, cobwebs, cellar, musty, bitterish note, medium-bodied. Really good.

On tap at Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Pours hazy golden brown with a small white head. Aroma: light sour, lemon, lime, apples, light funk. Taste: light sweet & bitter citric, oak, sour citrus pith & zest, brown sugar, acidic, vinegar, light funk. Medium bodied, light carb, dry-ish finish. Decent faro, not too sickly sweet like some of them

Flavor is light sour, light sweet, malt, barnyard, little sugar, light dusty, fruit, grapes. Medium body, average carbonation, light acidic finish. 120518

Keg at MBCC 2018 Red (session Trois), 11/05/18. Rich amber with little in the way of a head. Nose is damp wood, pissy, apple rot, funk. Taste comprises damp hay, bittersweet citric, funk, sweet elements, oak. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Decent enough faro.

Aroma of funk, unripe fruits, pears, red and sour apples, horse blanket.
Tastes similar, with more horse blanket.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes dry, wooden, medium sour, funky, fruity, with pears, green apples, some horse blanket.
Really tasty. Fortunately not as sweet as other Faros. Complex and smooth, with beautiful funk, barrel and fruit notes. This was a nice surprise, enjoyed this a lot.

0,05l from tap at MBCC Red Session 2018. redish clear color, small white head. smells musty, citric, earthy, bit cheesy. nice smell. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather musty, cheesy, citrus, light grass, bit peppery. finishes dry and medium sour with notes of citrus, cheese and some must. best style example i had so far, not overly sweet, good stuff 7, 4, 7, 3, 16
