Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, warm orangey brown with a rich if dissipating beige head. Nose has candied apples, toffee, brown sugar and a clearly oxidized touch, but in a pleasant way. Rich, sweet, malty, dark dried fruits, a downplayed hint of Belgian yeast and a warming alcohol finish. Nothing really extraordinary, but just a very wel executed Strong Belgian as almost always from this brewer. A lovely dram! 130321

clear amber red, small light brown head. bitter hopy and malty aroma, dark caramel, more like an uk beer than an american, but aroma indicates a really crafty brewed strong one. faint fruity notes. flavor is malts and roasted malts, faint licorice, good spicy hops, some browncake spices too. fairly okay spiced cristmas brew.

Fonefan 201214. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, dried fruits, caramel, nuts. Flavour is roasted malt, apple, alcohol, dried fruits, caramel, nuts. Full body. OK beer.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Det Lille Bryggeri Vintage Julebryg 2014 ].Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy malt, sweet malt, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol - phenol, buzzy, caramel, sweet malt, candy - dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20141220]

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Heavy malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate biter great flavor. Some fruity esters and other guf. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting January, 2015. Pours ruby red amber with a creamy head. Dark fruit, licorice, caramel and a bit of alcohol. Medium bodied. Spicy - but never one dimensional. Well integrated. Good!

Bottle. It’s a hazy one, amber in color and with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma has dried fruits and some alcohol, with caramel sauce, nuts and a herbal touch. It’s full-bodied and a bit sticky on the palate, with with a pleasant carbonation level. Sweet, caramel flavor with bitterness, dried fruits and a resiny touch. Bitter finish. Sort of nice this one, but too sweet and warming. 141220

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish. Caramelish and malty. Sweet and toasted malty. Bitter and dry phenolic and caramelish.
