Cask hand pull at the brewery. A opaque nut brown coloured pour with a a lasting thin beige head. Aroma is sweet buttery, vanilla, hints of cheap sun tan lotion. Served at room temperature. Flavour is composed of semi sweet chocolate, hazelnut cream, vanilla, oily. Palate is warm, oily, low carbonation.. Lingering woody chocolate.

Cask at the brewpub, 12/04/18. Murky looking off black with a collapsing tan head. Nose is lIght cocoa powder, dried fruits, light coconut flakes, mellow roast. Taste comprises light chocolate, toffee, faint ashen notes, baking powder, light charr. Light in body, moderate carbonation and on the thin side, semi drying close. Not entirely unpleasant but lacks any real flavour and at £2.45 a half for a 3.8% beer brewed on theach premises it's a poor show overall.
