Fonefan 280215. Deep red colour with no head. Aroma is honey, cherries. Flavour is honey, cherries, sugar, vanilla, almond. Nice mead.

50 cl bottle @ Sankt Hans Tasting, Ulfborg.
Aroma has sweet honey tones - and quite nothing else. Flavour has alcohol, sweet honey tones, some root beer and mild fruit juice tones. Leathery, sweet and sticky finish.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ Carnival Tasting 2015, Denmark. [ As Braumanufaktur Wikingerblut ].Clear medium to dark red color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, cherry notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, spicy honey, cherry sweet, cherry sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20150228]

Bottled@fonefan. Blood red colour, no head. Aroma is floral, some cherries and honey. Flavour is rapberries, some cherries, sweet honey and mild nectary notes. Lovely flavour.

Bottle. A still and headless, clear ruby red mead. The aroma is a bit weak, with honey in the back and some cherry. Vanilla notes too. It’s full-bodied and sticky on the palate, with flavors of honey, cherries and a touch of artificial almond essence and vanilla. Lasting sweet finish. Too sweet and sticky this one, but it’s actually quite nice anyway. 150228
