Clear dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, sweet malt, dark roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, tart malt, dark berries, roasted, chocolate, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20150116]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and light berries. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with a hint of acid. 160115

Bottle, 10.6%. Almost black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel, little dusty and a little bread. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little acid, medium sweet, little oak, dusty, dark fruits and a little bitter.

bottle at home ... deep black ... thin tan lacing ..sweet berry chocolate nose ...dark roast .. dark malts ... very soft (maybe a little too soft in bottle)... sweet berry plumy chocolate .... soft roast ... tiny woody hints
