Keg at the brewpub, 18/02/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a moderate tan swirl. Nose is rich fruit, spice, toffee, dates, prunes, cake mix. Taste comprises fruit loaf, toffee fudge, light spice, Beglian yeast notes, candied fruit peel, brown bread, light cocoa rub. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok if lacking a little depth when the ABV is considered.

Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toffee, raisin, herbal hops, spice and citrus. The taste is toffee, raisin, dark malts, chocolate and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied with a faint bit of booze. Nice.
