Keg at the brewpub, 12/11/14. Dark amber/chestnut brown with a decent light beige covering. Nose is sweet, biscuit, light perfume, red grapefruit. Taste comprises sweet ntoes, caramel malt, brown sugars, candied citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. This is an American Strong Ale - NOT an English one, way to sweet and not enough bitter balance. Too sweet, lacks balance and finesse.
