Flaske 500ml. Gave fra Rune. Drukket på Bergstua 6 Okt 15. Svart. Lavt stabilt skum. Aroma av sjokolade & litt lakris. Smaken “tett”. Litt tung. Mye lakris. Blir veldig tørr. Ubestemmelig.

Bottle at home. Has a deep reddish brown to black color and a small, light brown head. Roasted aroma with ash, coffee, dark chocolate and some fruit and flowers in the background. Roasted flavor as well with tones of coffee beans and very dark chocolate, but also pine and leather. Has a silky mouth feel, full body and medium, balanced bitterness. A powerful BIPA with a nice mix between stout and IPA. Well-balanced.

10.02.2015, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Big light brown fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is roasted and mineraly, burnt grain, grass, minerals, ashtray, burnt caramel, roasted coffee, pine needles, hops, licorice. Taste is harsh roasted, burnt grain, minerals, burnt coffee, bark, harsh grass, pine needles, ashtray, hops, cereal, burnt caramel. Longlasting dry bitterness, harsh mineraly mouthfeel. As a DIPA (as they call it), it’s a total failure in every way. As a black IPA, it’s just.....meh!
