Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 15/05/14. Light black with a good sized tan head that dissipates to a full covering and stays for the show. Nose is roast malt, red berry fruit, cocoa powder, hoppy backnotes, light tropical tangs. Taste comprises jammy berry fruits, light pine, cocoa powder, dark toffee notes, red berries. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light roast and hop bitterness in the close. Decent hoppy porter - this was about half way towards a CDA for me!
