(Tap) clear, bright very pale yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of sourness, hint of noble hops; well sour flavour with a long, light sour finish; a rare American made Berliner Weisse that is actually sour and not just lightly tart; bonus for a great name

Keg at Beachwood BBQ Long Beach, 17/04/14. Clear pale golden with a moderate white covering. Nose is lemon rind, spice, light pissoi, damp flannel, grassy. Taste comprises citric peel, lime cordial, corn, straw, very light acidity. Light body, fine spritzoid carbonation, crisp refreshing close. Ok ’linner, a little basic in the flavour profilr but delivers a refreshing enough close.

On tap at the source. Pours with a clear golden yellow body with a large white head that fades. Aromas are tart, mild sulfur, crackery grain, mild esters, lactic acid and raw pils. Flavors are tart, grainy lactic, bready, wheat, and a bit of a DMS character. Light bodied, dry, medium tart, high carbonation. Okay, but not one of my favorite Beachwood offerings.
