Cask at the George on the Strand, 23/01/14. Clear pale golden with a thin off white head. Nose is straw, lemon, chemical notes, not overly inviting. Taste comprises lemon rind, faint hop presence, more chemical tinges, light diacetyl notes, earthy, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying closure. Pretty poor showing when held up to the quality of what’s being brewed these days.
