This is a ramped up version of my stout...very strong espresso (actually probably would be called strong coffee...I just don’t want to make any coffee purist angry) was added to the secondary. This would be a great breakfast beer...I mean, if you wanted to have a beer with breakfast...and who would want to do that? (yeah, I would too...):

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 07/06/13. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin light tan head that dissipates edgeward. Nose is roast malt, brown sugars, espresso notes, chocolate. Taste comprises woody notes, roast coffee, light chocolate, demerara sugar, roast malt backbone. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light roast in the finish. Decent enough stout.
